enables you to run through an imaginary rescue from start to finish with all of the same features of Medtronic's award-winning AED.

The LIFEPAK 1000 Training System features the same clear voice prompts, audible tones, and instructional messages as the operational LIFEPAK 1000 AED, in addition to pre-configured scenarios. The LIFEPAK 1000 Training System is also fully programmable, enabling you to utilize and train your team with all of the options and features found with the LIFEPAK 1000.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery of the LIFEPAK 1000 Training System provides up to 4 hours of operation time, or half a day of training for you and your team. The battery is also fully rechargeable and the LIFEPAK 1000 Training System comes with the charger itself, helping to keep costs down while also limiting the impact on the environment.

The LIFEPAK 1000 Training System also features a large graphical screen similar to the therapy-delivering LIFEPAK 1000. The trainer even displays ECG; however, it does not include 3-lead ECG, nor does it stimulate ECG monitoring-only mode (which the LIFEPAK 1000 features).

The LIFEPAK 1000 Training System's training electrode pads are reusable. A remote control is also included, enabling you to control the scenario during training and stop and start at your convenience.

The software of the LIFEPAK 1000 Training System has also been updated and is consistent with the 2010 AHA Guidelines.
