AED Cabinets

An AED cabinet is a great accessory for AEDs that will be used in a large public setting, such as a school, mall, office, church, or some other public arena. For situations of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, timing is everything and at times a lay responder is forced to respond. With an AED stored in an easily recognizable cabinet, bystanders are able to quickly locate an AED and deliver therapy to patients in need, potentially saving valuable seconds that may very well determine the difference between life and death. 

AEDs Today provides three primary options for our custom cabinets wall/surface mount AED cabinets, recessed AED cabinets, and a free standing AED cabinet. The wall/surface mount AED cabinets are simply attached to a sturdy wall of one's choosing, requiring no more than about five to ten minutes for installation. The recessed AED cabinets, either semi- or fully-recessed, require a cavity-like space to be created for the cabinet. The free standing AED cabinet is for environments in which the storage of the AED against a wall - either surface or recessed - is not advised and/or desired. In addition, most AED cabinets are available in a standard white steel design, as well as a stainless steel model.
