Recertified LIFEPAK CR Plus AED
Looking to equip yourself with a lifesaving AED while keeping costs down? Our recertified AEDs allow you to implement a lifesaving AED program of your own while readily saving hundreds of dollars.
Our recertified AEDs often come from clients of ours that receive our medical oversight and AED management service. At times the budgets of our clients allow for an upgrade of their devices, the AEDs sometimes being only a couple of years old. The vast majority of these devices have never been used and are literally as good as new, having been meticulously maintained and stored safely within a designated AED cabinet.
Each recertified AED is gone over by a manufacturer-specific specialist and receives thorough testing. New batteries and electrodes are often included, and a complete and comprehensive warranty of one year is included for the device and all components. If you're looking for a five-year warranty, please be sure to select such from the options above.
If you decide to increase the warranty from one year to five, medical oversight via our AED Concierge Service is thrown in at no additional cost. In short, this service ensures your LIFEPAK CR Plus will work when needed (meaning that you properly maintain the device), you're fully compliant with what your state and the FDA require, and that any liability is kept to an absolute minimum. The service alone usually costs $249/year, so the inclusion of the medical oversight make the five year warranty upgrade a great investment all around.
This particular model of the LIFEPAK CR Plus is fully-automatic. Simply put, this means that responders needn't press a button to deliver a shock to patients in need, the device actually doing so on its own. (Recertified semi-automatic LIFEPAK CR Plus AEDs, that is, devices that require you to press the button to administer the shock, can be found here.)
We recommend the fully-automatic LIFEPAK CR Plus for lay responders, i.e., those that are not medical professionals. For first-time responders, there's often hesitation to press the shock button, even with the AED instructing you to do so. This ultimately delays the delivery of the lifesaving therapy that is so dearly need, potentially leading to serious consequences regarding the success of the rescue (remember that timing is everything for situations of sudden cardiac arrest). The fully-automatic LIFEPAK CR Plus removes the possibility of this user-error.
