LIFEPAK CR2 Church AED Package
The LIFEPAK CR2 Church AED Package provides religious communities with a readymade and comprehensive AED program. Featuring the LIFEPAK CR2 AED and all of the necessary accessories, this AED package is a hassle-free option that enables you to readily equip your place of worship with a lifesaving AED at the lowest possible cost.
As the title denotes, the LIFEPAK CR2 is the centerpiece of this AED package. Our personal favorite here at AEDs Today (primarily for the reason that over 80% of medical professionals and first responders use LIFEPAK devices, meaning your AED program will be compatible with theirs), the LIFEPAK CR2 is available in both a semi-automatic and fully-automatic model.
For church and religious settings in which a lay responder might need to utilize the AED, that is, someone that is not a trained medical professional or responder, then we recommend the fully-automatic option. The fully-automatic LIFEPAK CR2 ensures delivery to the patient when it's most needed, eliminating much of the user error found during rescues conducted by lay and first-time responders. Please note that most churches will fall into this type of scenario.
If a medical professional is always on hand at your church, or should members of your congregation receive comprehensive AED training, the semi-automatic LIFEPAK CR2 model is suitable for your needs. For this particular device, patients will only receive the shock once the 'Shock' button is manually pressed by the responder. Please note that both models of the LIFEPAK CR2 walk you through the entire rescue process, notifying you when the patient needs to be administered a shock and/or receive CPR.
If your place of worship can be noisy at times, or should the placement of your device be subject to the public (which we strongly recommend, as your AED should be readily available to everyone), we recommend the alarm upgrade for your cabinet. The alarm enables you to more easily notify others of an emergency situation, in addition to preventing theft and/or tampering of the device.
Electrodes are included that covers therapy for both adults and children alike. Should a child experience sudden cardiac arrest, your LIFEPAK CR2 will detect such and adjust the therapy as need for the pediatric patient.
We highly recommend church and religious institutions equip themselves with medical oversight, as well. Medical oversight ensures that your LIFEPAK CR2 will work when needed, your place of worship is fully compliant with state and federal laws, and that liability is kept to an absolute minimum.
If you happen to use your AED, the service includes an AED replacement that is overnighted to you as we analyze the data and equip your device with new electrodes and batteries (at no cost to you). An easy-to-use web portal keeps the records required by your state, and as your electrodes and batteries expire, replacements are sent to you free of charge.
