Hats Off to Vanderbilt Univeristy

Posted by Valarie Brehm on 10/26/2010 to AED News
At AEDs Today, our hats are off to Vanderbilt University for their progressive take on preparedness and the safety of their students and faculty. Not only is Vanderbilt University ranked as one of the best universities in the country, from our measure, it's also one of the safest.

Be sure to check out Vanderbilt University's website, which conveniently lists all of the locations they've strategically placed their AEDs. It would be a fantastic study to see just how many (or rather, how few) universities have properly equipped themselves for sudden cardiac arrest. From what we can see, Vanderbilt would be ranked among one of the safest.

Either way, we feel it necessary to give Vanderbilt University some credit for their efforts in saving lives, both young and old.
